I am an unabashed film geek with an interest in exploring coming-of-age and identity in any genre with a particular love for the clash between fantasy and reality with ordinary characters finding themselves in extraordinary situations.
I direct and at times, writes film and TV dramas whether the stories are based on Deaf / BSL (British Sign Language) like myself, hearing or Disabled people.
My work have been shown at festivals, both nationally and internationally, winning awards as well as being broadcast on Film4, CBBC and streamed on Sky On Demand.
I recently directed a short film 'Asa' that was funded by BFI Network South East starring Nicholas Pinnock and I am currently taking part in the BBC Elevate scheme with an aim to work on a HETV drama series and I am a member of Directors UK.
